    Arbalou Herbal Cough is an herbal blend designed to support your horse’s respiratory system in case of breathing difficulties caused by sensitivity to dusty environments and/or pollen, whether these are recurring or occasional, especially at the start of work.

    • Thyme is recommended to support spasmodic coughs in horses, relieving both acute and chronic episodes. It has disinfectant and antiseptic properties and is a powerful tonic. Thyme helps purify the horse’s airways and also combats sinusitis and bronchitis. Its antibacterial and antifungal properties make it a valuable ally for winter and respiratory issues.
    • Coltsfoot (Tussilage) soothes respiratory infections and eases irritation in the bronchi caused by coughing.
    • Licorice aids expectoration by regulating mucus secretion: it stimulates it in the case of dry coughs and thins it in the case of productive coughs.
    • Plantain leaves contain iridoids, with aucuboside being the main one. Aucuboside has antibacterial and antitussive properties used to relieve respiratory disorders in horses. Additionally, Plantain supports anti-allergic responses and is particularly useful for horses experiencing allergic respiratory issues.
    • Eucalyptus promotes the expulsion of bronchial secretions, helping to treat respiratory conditions such as coughs. It is also a powerful antiseptic that fights infections in the horse’s respiratory tract. Eucalyptus is particularly effective for lower respiratory tract infections like productive coughs or bronchitis, and can also be used for upper respiratory infections such as sinusitis. Expectorant: Eucalyptol increases the motility of ciliated cells in the respiratory tract, promoting more efficient mucus clearance. Anti-inflammatory: Eucalyptol helps reduce inflammation. Bronchodilator activity: In obstructive respiratory conditions, the bronchi are contracted, inflamed, and produce excess mucus. Eucalyptus, rich in 1,8-cineole, has a spasmolytic effect on smooth muscle fibers, helping airways relax and allowing the horse to breathe more easily.

    Decongestant and antitussive effects for your horse. Pine buds provide expectorant and antiseptic support, help thin mucus, and are rich in vitamin C, offering additional benefits for respiratory health. This very complete blend is ideal for managing chronic cough in your horse and improving daily respiratory well-being.

    • Horse and Pony: ½ dose in the morning and evening.
    • If it is not possible to give it in two doses, administer 1 full dose once a day.
    • Course: 10 to 20 days per month during periods with dusty environments and high pollen levels.
    • It can be given year-round, at 10 to 20 days per month each month. Contraindications: Pregnant mares. Keep out of reach of children.
    • Store in a protected, dry place away from light. Close the container tightly after use. The PP containers used by Arbalou Soins are recyclable in yellow recycling bins.

    Licorice, Thyme, Eucalyptus, Coltsfoot, Plantain, Pine Buds. Analytical composition: Crude fiber: 16.7%, Crude protein: 14.3%, Crude fat: 3.1%, Crude ash: 11.2%, Moisture: 9.5%, Lysine: 0.29%, Methionine: 0.13%, Sodium: 0.2%. Certified FCA (Feed Chain Alliance) plant, non-irradiated, GMO-free. We cannot guarantee the absence of contaminants in the plants. Therefore, we recommend stopping this product 48 hours before a competition and switching to either Arbalou Phyto Respir syrup or the Arbalou Chronic Toux plant blend. Both are verified as non-doping by the Laboratory of Horse Racing.

    Un mélange de fruits associer au complément alimentaire est une bonne solution. Carottes, pommes...

    Compote de pomme non sucrée, aromatisé le produit avec de la cannelle, les chevaux adorent ça, mouiller ses granulés avant l'ajout du produit...

    Pour la forme poudre, vous pouvez la mélanger avec de l'eau et la mettre également dans une seringue, puis dans la bouche du cheval. Pensez à bien secouer le mélange.

    Quelle est la différence entre le dosage cheval et le dosage poney ?

    Comprendre les dosages des compléments alimentaires Arbalou Soins.

    Sur chaque étiquette et fiche technique des compléments alimentaires de la boutique Arbalou, vous trouverez les indications suivantes :

    • Dosage cheval : correspond à un cheval de 600 kg
    • Dosage poney : correspond à un poney D de 400 kg

    Ces dosages sont des moyennes. Il est donc facile de les adapter en fonction du poids de votre animal.

    Comment ajuster le dosage de chaque complément alimentaire pour chevaux ?

    Si votre cheval ou votre poney ne correspond pas exactement à ces poids de référence, adaptez le dosage proportionnellement. Exemple avec Arbalou Phytoflex :

    • Cheval de 600 kg → 1 dose pleine
    • Poney D de 400 kg → ½ dose
    • Cheval de 500 kg → ¾ de dose
    • Poney B : 1m30, environ 300 kg → ⅓ de dose
    • Cheval de 800 kg → 1 dose ¼

    En cas de doute, ajustez en fonction du poids de votre animal pour garantir un dosage optimal.
