Arbalou Equi-Mineral is a highly palatable mineral supplement based on plants with a high oligovitamins content. It is concentrated in calcium with a Ca/P ratio of 2, making it ideal for balancing forage and/or cereal-based rations and for growth periods. Trace elements and amino acids contribute to maintaining your horse's good condition. It is essential to supplement the ration with a vitamin-mineral complex. Indeed, trace elements and vitamins are essential for the proper functioning of foals, adult horses at rest, working horses, and breeders.

Arbalou Equi-Mineral provides essential minerals and trace elements, as well as the main vitamins:

    • Iron helps improve endurance. Iron plays a crucial role in transporting oxygen to tissues and in cellular respiration. Vitamin E has antioxidant properties, enhancing muscle protection and recovery for your horse. It protects red blood cell membranes and other cells from the harmful effects of free radicals and stimulates the immune system.
    • Vitamin A is essential for growth, as it is involved in cellular differentiation. It also stimulates cell renewal and is important for skin and mucous membranes. Additionally, it supports immune function and acts as a potent antioxidant. In the body, antioxidants help combat cellular aging and oxidative stress. They neutralize damage caused by free radicals and contribute to maintaining a healthy body and an efficient immune system.
    • Vitamin C: Indirectly aids in red blood cell production and promotes iron absorption, which is crucial for red blood cell formation. It also stimulates muscle metabolism in horses. Vitamin D3: Vitamin D receptors are present in every cell. Recent studies show it strengthens the immune system and enhances mineral absorption.
    • Selenium plays a key role in the body. At the intracellular level, it acts as an antioxidant by enabling the production of glutathione peroxidase, which works in conjunction with Vitamin E to protect cell membranes from oxidation caused by free radicals.
    • Together, Vitamin E and Selenium reduce the risk of muscle contractions in your horse.
    • Manganese helps in the proper formation of connective tissues, cartilage, and bones, contributing to strong skeletal structure. Zinc ensures proper functioning of the skin and mucous membranes, while also boosting the horse's immune defenses.
    • Copper also plays a role in the muscular and skeletal systems of the horse. It is involved in the formation of hair and other appendages, such as manes, tails, and hooves. Copper also acts as an anti-anemic and helps prevent osteochondrosis and skeletal disorders.
    • Magnesium is an essential mineral, particularly for energy production. It supports proper muscle and nerve function, energy production, bone health, and the synthesis of proteins and DNA. Magnesium is key for growth and bone formation.
    • Calcium supports bone development and muscle function in your horse.
    • Phosphorus: The growth, gestation, and lactation of the broodmare multiply the need for calcium and phosphorus by 1.5 to 2.5 times. The Ca/P ratio should be between 1.5 (for maintenance and reproduction) and 1.8 (for growth and work). The calcium-phosphorus ratio should always be between 1.5 and 2.
    • Cobalt is a component of Vitamin B12 and supports the metabolism of the digestive flora in your horse. Trace elements are essential for the proper functioning and well-being of your horse.

Thanks to its composition, Arbalou Equi-Mineral promotes your horse’s well-being and meets its needs through its contributions of minerals, trace elements, and vitamins. It is very complete and can be given at all stages of breeding or for horses in maintenance. 1 dose of 90 grams of Arbalou Equi-Mineral provides: 90,000 IU of Vitamin A 1,800 IU of Vitamin D 180 IU of Vitamin E 27 mg of Vitamin C 3.6 mg of Vitamin K 1.8 mg of Biotin 9 mg of Vitamin B1 4.5 mg of Niacin 729 mg of Zinc 171 mg of Manganese 135 mg of Iron 270 mg of Copper 3.6 mg of Iodine 3.42 mg of Selenium

    Frequently Asked Questions
