Arbalou L.P – Equine Immune Support & Nutritional Balance

A unique combination of six botanicals, zinc, vitamin C and L-glutamine to support your horse's nutritional needs.

Arbalou L.P is a complementary feed for horses, specially formulated with a blend of botanical ingredients and essential nutrients. It is designed to complement the diet of horses requiring additional nutritional attention, particularly during periods of recovery or increased environmental exposure to ticks.

Its carefully selected formula combines wild teasel, echinacea, cat's claw, mugwort, Java tea and dandelion, alongside zinc, vitamin C and L-glutamine.

Key Benefits of Arbalou L.P

  • Six botanical ingredients: a diverse blend of plants traditionally used in herbal nutrition.

  • Echinacea: traditionally used in herbal preparations associated with immune function.

  • Zinc: an essential trace element involved in numerous physiological and enzymatic processes.

  • Vitamin C: a nutrient with antioxidant properties.

  • L-glutamine: an amino acid used by intestinal and immune cells.

  • Cold-granulated formula: convenient for daily feeding.

  • Made in France: developed with Arbalou's nutritional expertise.

A Targeted Combination of Botanicals and Nutrients

Wild Teasel (Dipsacus spp.)

Wild teasel has a history of traditional herbal use. Certain compounds from teasel have been investigated in laboratory research. However, there is currently insufficient clinical evidence to establish its effectiveness against Borrelia infections in horses.

Echinacea (Echinacea spp.)

Echinacea is widely used in traditional herbal preparations associated with immune support. Its effects depend on the species, extract and dosage, and evidence in horses remains limited.

Cat's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa)

Cat's claw contains naturally occurring botanical compounds, including oxindole alkaloids and polyphenols, which have attracted scientific interest. Clinical benefits in horses have not been established.

Mugwort (Artemisia spp.)

Mugwort is a botanical ingredient traditionally used in herbal preparations. It should not be confused with purified artemisinin or considered a treatment for equine piroplasmosis.

Java Tea (Orthosiphon spp.) and Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)

These plants have a history of traditional use in herbal preparations associated with urinary and digestive functions. Their specific clinical effects in horses have not been established.

Zinc, Vitamin C and L-Glutamine

Zinc contributes to numerous enzymatic and physiological functions.

Vitamin C participates in antioxidant defence systems.

L-glutamine is an amino acid involved in several metabolic pathways and is utilised by intestinal and immune cells.

Together, these ingredients provide a diversified nutritional supplement for horses.

Frequently Asked Questions
