Prebiotics and probiotics for a healthy gut flora in horses. Stabilization of physiological digestion. For occasional digestive issues in horses. Rich in live yeasts to also combat diarrhea in horses.
Jump to descriptionWhy does my horse have digestive issues or diarrhea?
Digestive issues, especially diarrhea, are common concerns for horse owners. These conditions can have various causes, ranging from stress and dietary changes to infections or imbalances in the intestinal microbiota.
What are the benefits of prebiotics and probiotics for a horse's digestion?
Using prebiotics and probiotics is an effective solution to maintain a healthy gut flora and support digestion in horses, especially when dealing with occasional digestive disturbances. Arbalou® Immuno Digest is a product specifically designed to meet these needs. It contains a combination of MOS (Mannanoligosaccharides), FOS (Fructooligosaccharides), and live yeasts, active ingredients that play a major role in regulating gut flora and stabilizing physiological digestion. These components work together to support the horse's digestive health and prevent intestinal issues such as diarrhea.
Prebiotics: The foundation for a healthy gut flora.
Prebiotics such as MOS and FOS are dietary fibers that are indigestible by the animal but serve as food for the beneficial bacteria in the intestinal tract. These prebiotics promote the growth and activity of these bacteria, which are essential to maintaining gut balance. By specifically nourishing the beneficial microorganisms, prebiotics contribute to better nutrient digestion and optimal absorption, thereby reducing the risk of digestive imbalances and intestinal infections. MOS, in particular, is known for its ability to interact with receptors on pathogenic bacteria, limiting their adhesion to the intestinal wall. This mechanism may play a key role in preventing bacterial infections and reducing the risk of diarrhea related to harmful bacterial overgrowth. FOS has a similar action, promoting a favorable environment for "friendly" bacteria while reducing the growth of harmful microorganisms.
Probiotics: Strengthening natural defenses.
In addition to prebiotics, the probiotics in Arbalou® Immuno Digest provide live microorganisms, such as yeasts, which are directly incorporated into the horse’s gut flora. These microorganisms play an important role in the digestion of fibers and other nutrients that are difficult for the horse’s body to absorb. By rebalancing the bacterial population in the intestine, probiotics promote optimal digestion and help strengthen the animal’s immune defenses. Yeasts, in particular, are recognized for their beneficial effects on gut flora balance and their ability to prevent or alleviate episodes of diarrhea. By stimulating the activity of beneficial bacteria, probiotics help reduce inflammation and restore a stable intestinal environment, even when temporarily disrupted by stress or dietary changes.
Neutralizing mycotoxins and pathogens :
Another key benefit of Arbalou® Immuno Digest is its ability to neutralize mycotoxins and pathogenic bacteria. The MOS, combined with beta-glucans, helps limit the impact of mycotoxins—toxins produced by certain fungi that can contaminate the horse's feed. By capturing these mycotoxins, our supplement reduces the risk of intoxication and intestinal inflammation that may result, helping to prevent digestive disorders and diarrhea episodes. Additionally, the combination of prebiotics and probiotics in Arbalou® Immuno Digest helps restore a bacterial balance conducive to intestinal well-being. This stabilization of the intestinal microbiota plays a crucial role in preventing chronic or recurrent digestive disorders and significantly improves the horse's overall well-being.
Comprehensive digestive support for the horse :
Arbalou® Immuno Digest is not only a supplement for relieving occasional digestive disturbances, but also a way to maintain a stable and balanced gut flora in the long term. By ensuring the stability of physiological digestion, this supplement contributes to the horse's digestive comfort, improves its general condition, and supports its ability to fully absorb the nutrients in its diet. Using our Arbalou® Immuno Digest supplement, highly concentrated in prebiotics and probiotics, provides effective support for the horse’s digestive well-being. These active ingredients, by promoting high-quality gut flora, help combat digestive disorders, including diarrhea. Moreover, by preventing microbiota imbalances, our supplement contributes to improving digestion and supporting the overall well-being of the horse.
